This week, we’re excited to introduce you to Theresa, whose energy, dedication, and love for family bring warmth to both her work and her community.



Theresa starts her mornings with a routine that sets the tone for the day: turning on the lights, checking the bathrooms, fitness center, and pool area, and making sure everything looks tidy and welcoming. With a quick Diet Mountain Dew (her version of coffee!) in hand, she’s ready to dive in.

Her day-to-day work is all about staying connected and proactive:

• Checking the CRM and following up with new leads.
• Responding to resident questions and concerns quickly and thoughtfully.
• Reviewing work orders and chatting with the maintenance team to keep everything moving.
• Walking units for move-out and move-in inspections.
• Reviewing delinquency and vacancy reports.
• Leading apartment tours and showing future residents why this community feels like home.

Theresa also walks the property daily, keeping an eye on exteriors, grounds, and amenities to make sure everything looks its best. It’s a busy role, but she takes pride in ensuring residents feel cared for the moment they step onto the property.

And while some days bring oddball requests or unusual work orders, lately things have been running smoothly—just the way Theresa likes it.

Theresa isn’t just a property manager—she’s also a family-oriented adventurer who loves the simple joys of life and a good thrill every now and then. Here are a few fun facts about her:

• 🥤 Caffeine of choice: She’s not a coffee drinker, but Diet Mountain Dew keeps her going.
• 🥪 Lunch go-to: You’ll often catch her grabbing Jimmy John’s or Panera.
• 🔥 Family time: Her favorite way to relax is hanging out with family around the fire pit, having BBQs or potlucks, or spending time on the water—boating, floating, or swimming.
• 👩‍👩‍👧 Loved ones: She and her significant other, Matthew, share their lives with his 11-year-old daughter, Madelynn, and her 5-year-old son, Bradley.
• 🪂 Adventurer at heart: She once went skydiving in Colorado and loved it—and can’t wait to do it again! She’s also cliff-dived in Jamaica.
• 🌆 Roots: Born and raised in Sioux Falls, she spent two years in Nashville and eight in Colorado before moving back after her son was born.
• 🎶 Music lover: She listens to all genres, but classic rock and oldies hold a special place in her heart because they remind her of her late father.
• 📺 Favorite show: The Office.
